To access data on encrypted USB drives, you must authenticate with the personal password pre-defined during first initialization of the drive. Most of our encrypted USB drives will allow up to ten (10) failed password attempts. This is called max number of attempts or max N.O.A. If max N.O.A. is reached, by default the drive will reformat/reset for data integrity and a new password must be created in order to continue use of the drive. All data on the encrypted USB drive will be lost during format.

Please Note: Kingston does not retain personal passwords or have access to such data.
